IBDIQ offers on-demand education created in partnership with IBD specialists to help healthcare professionals of all experience levels reinforce their knowledge and get insights into the latest thinking.

Life with ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease can come with a lot of questions. Living with IBD strives to be a source of valuable information for patients that drives informed conversations with healthcare providers—today and in the future.

Part of The IBD Project is finding and supporting organizations and groups that share a similar interest in advancing IBD education. A demonstration of this is Takeda’s sponsorship of the MILESTONE APP initiative: a program that educates advanced practice providers (APPs) who specialize in advanced IBD about delivering high-quality care to their patients.

Each patient community has unique learning needs. Leveraging emerging technology, Takeda partners with healthcare providers to customize disease education resources.

While only those living with IBD can truly know what it’s like, Takeda encourages employees to participate in programs like “In Their Shoes” in an effort to cultivate empathy and understanding for patient experiences.
